Fourth of July Celebrations!

Thankfully when we leave the Lake House Vacation isn't over. For the past couple of years, Eric's cousin and his family have opened up their home to us. Ken and Kathy are amazing hosts! We always have a great time celebrating the Fourth of July with them and going into Boston.

Ken, Eric, and Thomas waiting for the fireworks to start

Kathy is getting the low down on silly bands.

Thomas loved his glow stick!

I absolutely love fireworks!!!

Every year on the morning of the Fourth of July, their is a parade that leads down the streets of Boston to the Old State House. There the Declaration of Independence is read from the balcony. It is such a neat event to be a part of!

Thankfully Ken saw the twinkle in Thomas's eye when he noticed the police motorcycle, and took it upon himself to ask if Thomas could try it out. He was so proud!

Eric and Aunt Linda heading down Freedom Trail, to the Old State House.

Katie and Reese enjoying the festivities.

The two "Tom's" sharing a moment together.

The reading of the Declaration of Independence.

The kids making their own fun while awaiting hot dogs and lemonade at Faneuil Hall.

The street performer was outstanding!

Thank you Anderson's for opening up your home! It was a wonderful end to our vacation!
